The Brief
The kitchen is often called the "heart of the home", a space where families gather, conversations flow, and memories are made. Its role in daily life is undeniable, yet the impact of kitchen design on the overall ambience of a home is easy to overlook. A well-designed kitchen should not only be visually appealing but also prioritise safety and efficiency, given the open flames, sharp utensils, and constant high-traffic movement.
I created Tasteful Interiors to address that: a resource dedicated to showcasing best practices in kitchen design that blend style with functionality. I kept the layout intentionally minimal so striking imagery of thoughtfully designed kitchens takes centre stage, and chose a periwinkle palette to evoke tranquility and refinement, with clean, modern typography to reinforce the sophisticated aesthetic. Every detail is meant to inspire homeowners and designers alike, showing that practicality and beauty can coexist effortlessly in the kitchen.
